Volunteers Lunch

On Saturday 21st April 2012, over 60 volunteers and friends attended the annual Volunteers Lunch was held at the Society’s premises.

30th July     Fundraising Coffee Morning and Open Garden

Enjoying the GardenEastbourne Blind Society is very grateful to our Resource Officer, David and his wife, Wendy for opening their beautiful garden to help us to raise funds.   Many of our members and friends supported the morning and enjoyed good weather, refreshments and companionship.

 
The bring and buy cake stall was very well supported.  
 
Gill, one of our Trustees, and her husband Rod sold a significant number of her hand-made cards in aid of Eastbourne Blind Society.
 
enjoying a quieter part of the gardenOver £400.00 was raised which will significantly help us to fund our various services.    Many thanks to all who supported this event in various ways.

Eastbourne Rotary FunWalk 2011

 
Copy of CertificateSome of the members of our Walking Group took part in the Eastbourne Rotary FunWalk 2011 on 5th June 2011.   They raised the magnificent amount of £181.63 to support the cost of the services we provide.  We would like to thank all who took part in this event.
